When You walk into the room, everything changes
Darkness starts to tremble at the light that You bring

Belting the above Sunday morning I heard a giggle in my head… I tuned in… “You are singing about yourself.”
What? No! I am singing about Jesus. The lyrics say Jesus.
I hear laughter… “Where do you think I am? I am in YOU! You and I are one, Dena. I am in you, you are in me (Colossians 2:6, 3:2-4, Galatians 2:20). What I do, you do. You are my representation on this earth. You are singing about yourself!” More laughter. Delight. Joy bubbled up in me, surrounded me, engulfed me.
I sat down.
He continued: “The church needs to grab this concept; own it, live it. It is key in this next stage; this next season. When my followers fully understand and live out the reality we are infused, entangled, unable to be undone…are one, the world will change.”
How do I gain access to this way of living? This type of existence?
“Faith and focus. Where do you place your faith; in what is it rooted? Me or something else? Where are you focusing? Abide. Abide. Abide. And you will be empowered, commissioned, and released by me to affect atmospheres, change cities, transform territories…” His voice faded, the worship around me came back into focus.
Reveling in his presence, I did a quick survey of my life and circumstances. I am not an unflagging atmosphere altering agent. I did not feel judgement nor condemnation, or even disappointment - just hope for what CAN be.
Open my eyes Lord so I can see, unplug my ears so I can hear, and heal my heart - kick out any fear, unbelief, anxious thoughts - so I can walk as you desire, act as you will, and move as you want.
We. Are. One. We. Are. Unified. Entangled. Infused. Unable to be Undone.
