Prayer Against Corruption

We are invited into God's courts (Psalm 100:4), so I went... and battled corruption:

Enter Gates with Thanksgiving

Thank you God for the New Year. Thank you Lord for houses of worship and fellowship. Thank you Lord for the liberty, freedom and ability we do have, can exercise, and manifest. Thank you for the invitation and ability to pray and talk with you face to face; that the veil between us and the holy of holies is gone.

Enter Courts with Praise

We praise you for being a righteous God, a good God, an honorable God who takes care of his children. We praise you for being available to hear our cries, judge our cases and listen to our pleas. We praise you for your ability to change and alter any situation, to manifest your presence in anyone anywhere for your purposes.

Statement of Appeal - Against corruption in our land, fraud, mismanagement, and oppression of peoples

We approach your court and bench of judgement today due to the upcoming electoral vote stemming from a seemingly fraudulent election seeded with corruption, mismanagement, deception and fear. We proclaim a righteous outcome; a God honoring end to this battle.

Legal Precedent - The Bible says:

  1. Proverbs 20:26 “A wise king is able to discern corruption and remove wickedness from his kingdom.” You have made us prophets, priests and kings so we remove wickedness from the kingdom and declare it needs to flee.

  2. Proverbs 25:5 “If we purge corruption from our kingdom a king’s reign will be established in righteousness.” We purge corruption and establish righteousness in our land.

  3. Proverbs 28:16 “If we employ wisdom and dispose corruption we will enjoy a long and full life.” We dispose of corruption in our midst and declare a long, enjoyable and full life for ourselves, our children and our neighbors.

  4. 2 Peter 2:19 “They promise others freedom, yet they themselves are slaves to corruption, for people are slaves to whatever overcomes them.” We declare we are no longer slaves to corruption. We proclaim it will NOT overcome us. We declare we walk in freedom.

  5. Psalm 32:2 “We are blessed and relieved when we have confessed our corruption to you, you wipe our slates clean and remove hypocrisy from our hearts.” We declare we have clean slates and pure hearts because we have asked and you have answered.

  6. Galatians 6:8 “The harvest you reap reveals the seed that was planted. If you plant the corrupt seeds… you can expect to experience a harvest of corruption. If you plant the good seeds of Spirit-life you will reap the beautiful fruits that grow from the everlasting life of the Spirit.” We proclaim we will plant Spirit pleasing and eternal life focused seeds. We uproot and destroy ones based in fleshly desires leading to corruption and destruction.

  7. I Timothy 6:9 “Those who crave the wealth of this world slip into spiritual snares. They become trapped by the troubles that come through their foolish and harmful desires, driven by greed and drowning in their own sinful pleasures. And they take others down with them into their corruption and eventual destruction.” We pray for those who are caught in snares, traps and troubles due to their foolish and harmful desires. We proclaim greed and corruption have no place in or around us.

Repentance

We repent of any way we cooperated, went along with, facilitated, organized or established any of the societal ills to which we are calling attention. We stand in a place of intercession for our land, our leaders, our authorities and REPENT of unGodly, unrighteous behavior or actions.

Judgement

Lord, we command the spirits of corruption, mismanagement, bribery, fraud, disincorporation, deception, oppression, fear be present in your courtroom

We ask for judgement against these spirits and their established roots in our land. We ask for a cleaning, a clearing, a cleansing of all deceptive practices, corruption, fraud and the like. We ask for righteousness, purity, and transparency to replace them.

Writ of Divorce

Thank you Lord for hearing our plea. Judging our case and rendering your verdict for righteousness, justice and peace - all hallmarks of your kingdom. We take with us the papers from the courtroom proving your verdict. Corruption, fraud, deception, oppression must fall in the name of Jesus. Amen.
