Humble, Faith-filled, Doubtless

Stay humble, remain in faith, do not doubt and watch what the King of Kings is about to do.

I woke January 6th, Epiphany, to a knot in my stomach and a heaviness in my heart. “God, what is all this? Why do I feel the way I feel?”

There was no audible answer but in my spirit I was impressed to read Ephesians 3 TPT. The last six verses are full of promises to a humble, submitted, abject believer.

“Kneel humbly, in awe before the Father…he (will) unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.”

“Constantly use your faith… the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life…you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences - the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions…endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding - this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!”

“Never doubt God’s mighty power… He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.”

Stay humble, remain in faith and do not doubt.

As the day unfolded with the attack on the “people’s house”, the death, the injury, the violence, the voting before the blood dried…all caused my heart to feel and even greater heaviness and a sickness in my stomach.

OH GOD! WHY!?!?!?!

I do not pretend to understand. I do not pretend to know or have depth of insight as to the inner administration, orchestration, or on-workings of our country and government. What I do know is God is good. He is merciful. He is kind. I know he has a plan, and it is in motion to provide for his faithful and true remnant.

Humbly I bow, I intercede, I proclaim and declare - God is GOOD. He is RIGHTEOUS. He is UNFAILING. He will DELIVER. He will BREAKTHROUGH for his church, his remnant, his people. And he will do it in a way that exceeds our wildest imagination.

Stay humble, remain in faith, do not doubt and watch what the King of Kings is about to do.
